I have smoldering myeloma. I guess I am considered high risk, with del(17p) chromosomal abnormality and a high M spike.
I just am interested because I have been taking 8 grams of curcumin every day for the past year. Does anyone else follow this supplement? I seem to be stable while taking it.
My doctor doesn't say yes its helpful or no it's not. He just tells me it isn't hurting, so I keep taking it in hopes of keeping this smoldering.
Any thoughts out there?

Re: Curcumin for smoldering myeloma?
Hi Susan,
We are sure you'll get a number of responses from people here in the forum about their personal experiences with curcumin, as you've requested.
However, just in case you haven't seen them already, we thought we would point you to the many previous discussions here in the forum about curcumin which contain postings -- some of them rather recent -- describing experiences forum participants have had with curcumin. You can find a list of the relevant discussions by following this link.
There are also a number of news articles related to curcumin and myeloma here at The Beacon. You can find them at this link.
