Yes, I was taking it on a regular basis, then reduced my dosage and eventually stopped. About 6 months after stopping, I noticed a marked increase in my FLC and immunoglobulins. After restarting, I was able to reduce my FLC by about 25% but it didn't seem to impact my immunoglobulins like the first time I started it (I probably should have never stopped).
Anyway, my multiple myeloma specialist thought curcumin wouldn't stop multiple myeloma, but can delay it. My regular oncologist echoed the same sentiments.
So, not a cure for sure, but perhaps can delay the onset. By the way, the multiple myeloma drugs we take won't cure it either. In most cases, it comes back.

Re: Curcumin and Velcade
Hi JohnC,
You are right in that taking the 500 mg capsules is too much. At least it was for me. So I found Doctor's Best 1 gram pills. They are large, but I've gotten good at swallowing them. I take 4 grams in the morning with 1 tablespoon of flax oil and the same dose in the evening with a healthy glass of red wine. Also I added one 60 mg capsule of Theracurmin with each C3 dose. It's still a lot to take and is expensive. So far so good.
Best! BN
