coronary by-pass

Has anyone out there with myeloma ever have by-pass surgery? Were there extra precautions you had to take? Also, has anyone been on any heart medication while undergoing treatment for myeloma?

Any word on this? Someone I know was diagnosed with multiple myeloma and needs heart bypass surgery for 80-90% blockage. Please let me know also
