Does anyone have any experience with the Chronic Disease Fund?

Hi Marie: We were just approved for assistance with the CDF. They offset the cost of specific drugs (in our case, Revlimid and Velcade.)

Our insurance pays for the majority of these drugs, but it is helpful to have the CDF help with our portion.

Oops, sorry . . . posted that while I wasn't logged in.

That post was from me. Let me know if I can help you with any questions re: our experience wit CDF. They were easy to work with, and we received our approval quickly, and just got our user card in the mail today.

I was just okayed for a fund from LLs co-pay assistance which is paying my health insurance premium and also the CDF which is paying my Revlimid 15 mg prescription until Dec. 31, 2011 and then i re-apply for 2012. I am on SSDI only and i need all the help i can find. I will be eligible for Medicare March 2012. I don't know how well Medicare will help for Revlimid and lab work. I have Humana checking on a new plan they are coming out with Jan 1, 2012. Celgene Company paid 100% for Revlimid while i had no insurance. I now have health insurance which is P.C.I.P. Plan by GEHA. in the state of AZ. Each state has this plan and it covers cancer.
