Thank you Rick, Nancy and Nancy. What you write is very interesting, I'll have to ask my doctors about variZIG and acyclovir, which I only received three months post transplant.

Very interesting point that we get our own immune system back. Why do we have these childhood immunisation programs post transplant? The immune system is complicated, and then trying to relate it to the stem cell transplant and its consequences, it's not easy.

I am sorry to hear that you still have problems with your eye Nancy.
