Thank you everyone for your responses. I do think one of the keys must be our own immune system, as Mark11 talks about.
I've always had a great immune system, so I'm hoping once the myeloma is beaten back sufficiently, my own immune system can keep it in check with the support of potent nutraceuticals. I'll let you know how that goes!
First - got to get my butt through transplant. October 5th shall be 'Day 0'.

Hi Ian,
Let me get back to you on the nutraceutical question. I am off most of my supplements right now, as I am heading for transplant in about a week. Post transplant I will meet with my Integrative medicine doctor again and will get setup again on his treatment program.
