We fixed the problem as soon as it was noticed, but forgot to let everyone know.
So consider this the Official Notification: If you're a registered user of the forum, you can once again customize your avatar. You can do so by going to this part of your User Control Panel,

and uploading an image file with your desire avatar.
So if you've been dying to use a "Hello Kitty" image as your avatar, or maybe a character from Calvin & Hobbes, or perhaps even that super cute picture of yourself when you were in kindergarten ... well, now is your chance!
If you do customize or change your avatar, feel free to make a quick posting here in this thread to show off the "new you."
