can IgG change?
At diagnosis I was told that I have IgG myeloma. On the written report after the diagnosis it states I have IgA myeloma. Is this most likely a typo or can this diagnosis change?

Re: can IgG change?
Most likely a typo.
However, in rare instances myeloma patients can "switch." This typically only happens at relapse and is excedingly rare. Whether it is due to a true change in heavy chain expression or two clones vying for dominance remains a question. Biclonal disease can be seen in ~2% of patients, but usually both clones are quantifiable at the same time.

Again, most likely a typo.
