Burning in my hands and feet again

by greg matthews on Wed Jul 11, 2012 6:54 pm

I have been off my meds since Febuary 2012. I am wondering is this left over neuropathy from Chemo and Revlimid Been back for a month or so. I am under a lot of stress from work so I am not sure if thats bringing it back up.

I had a stem cell transplant in May 2011. Been in remission a year now. Labs have been good.

I got bad grade 3 PN last year when I was on Velcade and had to stop the medication. It has since subsided to grade 1 and I still have burning and numbness in my hands and feet which I have been seeing a Neurologist for. It may never go away and is something I have learned to live with. At grade 1 PN has not been much of a problem for me. It does seem to act up occasionally but I have not noticed a pattern and seem to be unrelated to stress.

Thanks for the response, I head to my doctors on the 24th 25th of the month. I can handle this burning and numbness. I was just wondering as you said a pattern. Vit B has helped it alot I take it 2 times a day.

I only did 3 rounds Velcade, dex, Revlimid, the the heavy does of chemo at stem cell transplant. I will just see what happens.
