We are are in the Barrie area, so he would start treatment at that location. At the diagnosis in June they talked about Princess Margret as well.
I will keep trying with my Dad. At this point I sense he is reluctant still. I continue to read this forum and find very positive results and individuals living far past their initial diagnoses, even with the most negative diagnoses.
Thanks everyone!

Re: Broken ribs
Ya, any treatment in the form of radiation or chemo would be done in-town at the cancer centre at Royal Victoria Hospital and some consultation would be done at PMH; if you have a morning appointment at PMH, remember to LEAVE AT LEAST THREE AND A HALF HOURS before, as downtown Toronto traffic is brutal (despite that Toronto is 110 km/70 miles from Barrie).
If your father doesn't want to go for any treatment, have his local family doctor explain to him what results of vertebrae collapse are; not pretty.
We have one member in this forum from BC who is in his 18th year after diagnosis.
