Re: Boston Area Multiple Myeloma Support Group?
Dana-Farber has regular myeloma patient and caregiver support group meetings that should be open to any myeloma patient / caregiver, regardless of whether or not you're being seen at Dana-Farber. Go to this link and then click on "Support Groups Calendar" and search the page for "myeloma". That should bring you to the next myeloma-related support group meeting listed on the page.
There is also a group that meets in Newtownville, MA. It meets on the third Saturday of every month in the morning from 10 to noon. Here's information about their next meeting.
Finally, there's a group that we believe is still meeting regularly in Shrewsbury, MA, as is mentioned in this forum thread:
"Myeloma Group Meeting for Patients in Central Massachusetts" (Jan 6, 2013)
