Can some one help me with my bone marrow biopsy and labs one year after auto transplant?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
I am taking no meds because my platelet is low

Re: Help with bone marrow biopsy + lab results?
This is a good baseline to measure from. It looks like you should start some sort of treatment regiment and see how your body responds. The numbers don't alarm me, but then again I am not a doctor. It is not where you start, but how you respond and your numbers after that.

Re: Help with bone marrow biopsy + lab results?
It would be important for us to know your pretreatment (diagnosis labs) as well as thouse 3 months (or 100 days) post transplant for comparison. Further, myeloma associate organ damage must be considered- CRAB (Hypercalcemia, Renal failure, Anemia, and lytic Bone disease). If they remain stable compared to your post-transplant, then I would not be overly concern.
Being one year I would consider holding off on post-transplant to start maintenance or continuing therapy until relapse.
Enjoy your Holidays.

monoclonal plasma cells 0.35 % of cells , positive for cytoplasmic kappa cd 38, cd45 negative cd19, cd56 immunohistochemical stain.
cd138 shows approximately 6-8 plasma cells
microscopic description
bone marrow biopsy: sections of bone marrow biopsy show patchy cellularity, foci of 40 t0 50 % and foci of 20% cellularity with plasma cells mild perivascular and in small groups comprising of approximately 6- 8% of marrow cells
