Bitter melon for multiple myeloma?

by mdszj on Sat Jan 20, 2018 12:24 pm

Has anyone ever heard of any benefits to using bitter melon fruit to help fight against multiple myeloma or other cancers? Bitter melon is thought by some to help control blood glucose and type 2 diabetes.

Stick with the tried and proven; it's effective, and it has predictable outcomes. I hope your use of bitter melon is just an adjunct to a normal multiple myeloma treatment protocol. We’re dealing with a non-curable disease, and you're not going to 'eat' your way out of it.

All the best.

You misread my post. I am aware of the treatments for myeloma. However, the extent of my post was limited to a question about any known benefits from bitter melon.

Having said that, I am still smoldering, so I am not taking any of the multiple myeloma treatments yet.

Good luck.

Some journal articles on the subject of the potential anti-cancer properties of bitter melon. But further research is needed and there is no research yet (that I could find) related to multiple myeloma.
