If it is myeloma related and a sign of progressive disease, then your physician would use the appropriate algorithm to decide how to treat that type of relapse.
If it's due to a mass, then the will probably consider radiation and a re-staging of the disease to determine the salvage systemic therapy to follow. If it's not due to a large mass, then they will do a re-staging and select a systemic salvage therapy to follow.
The therapeutic options will be up to you and your multiple myeloma specialist and be related to a number of factors.
