Autologous stem cell transplant at Moffitt

by JaniceT on Sat Feb 13, 2016 3:30 pm

Had my transplant at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida on Feb 2nd. So far so good. Transplant team says I may get to go home this Friday, February 19th.

Other than some nausea and vomiting for 2 days right after the transplant, I have felt ok. Very tired, but ok. I do have loose stools, but not really a problem.

I was so worried about the transplant, and so far I have had no problems. Hope others have similar experience,

My husband, 47, had his transplant outpatient at Moffitt. Fairly smooth for him, too. The team there was wonderful. I felt he was in good hands.

So happy your experience was also on the easier side.
