ASCO 2010 Multiple Myeloma Coverage

by Beacon Staff on Fri May 21, 2010 8:27 am

As many of you may have heard, the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) annual meeting will be taking place in Chicago in early June. The ASCO meeting is one of the most important opportunities during the year for pharmaceutical companies and other sponsors of cancer research to release updated results of their current research projects.

The Beacon will be devoting substantial time and energy to covering the ASCO meeting this year. We will be publishing updates about the meeting at least once a day while the meeting is going on. In addition, we will soon start publishing detailed reports about the key myeloma-related research to be presented at the meeting. As has been the case in the past, these reports will appear before, during, and after the meeting.

Our detailed reports will rely, in part, on the meeting abstracts that ASCO is making available prior to the meeting. You can search the abstracts on your own by going to this link.

If there are particular abstracts that you would like to see discussed here in the forums, feel free to start a thread about the abstract.

Likewise, if there are abstracts that you are particularly interested in having the Beacon cover in more detail, or if there are questions that you would like the Beacon to ask of the researchers who will be presenting at ASCO, feel free to leave your thoughts, suggestions, and comments as postings in this thread.

All the best,

The Beacon Team
