Any chance this is MGUS or smoldering myeloma?

by lrosamond on Mon Dec 18, 2017 12:53 pm

I had my bone marrow biopsy this morning but they say it will be 2 weeks for results due to holidays. I am concerned because my M protein has increased from 1.4 g/dL (14 g/l) two weeks ago to 1.92 g/dL (19.2 g/l). I am still waiting on 24-hour urine. She said there is some fluctuation in labs.

Here are some other results so please feel free to help interpret them and tell if I still stand a chance of being MGUS or smoldering:

WBC. 3.9
RBC. 3.63
Hgb. 11.6
Hct. 34.5

M protein. 1.92
Total serum protein. 8.4
Monoclonal IgA lambda

Beta 2 globulin. 2.1
Gamma globulin. 0.4
Beta 2 Micro Serum. 1.86
Uric Acid. 6.3
LDH. 124

Free Kappa. 4.93
Free Lambda. 87.94
Kappa/Lambda ratio. 0.06

Creatinine. 0.86
Calcium. 10.4
Albumin. 4.4

The doctor thinks it's early stage 1 myeloma. Any chance I could be smoldering or still MGUS? Thanks in advance for your help.
