Thanks Mike. I agree. I truly believe if he can take it, he should be able to enjoy a glass of wine occasionally.

Alcohol stopped appealing to me about a year before diagnosis. As a former daily drinker, it came as a real surprise. But I really like that “end of the day” thing, so I’ve been smoking or eating marijuana about 2-3 times per week for the last 3 years. Very small amounts so that nobody really notices. I feel better in the morning than if I’d had a glass of wine. And I figure my liver doesn’t need any extra work that alcohol demands, after all of the myeloma treatment I’ve had.
And when having marijuana, I usually skip my daily Norco (hydrocodone and acetaminophen / paracetamol) pill.
