Hello Myeloma Beacon community,
My active multiple myeloma was discovered because of labs performed for a life insurance exam late last year. Had it not been for that exam, I would have learned about my condition in a far less timely manner.
I was officially diagnosed with a high-risk variation (del17p) as of St. Patrick's Day, and am currently undergoing my first round of chemo – a clinical trial with Kyprolis (carfilzomib) / Revlimid / dex.
Grateful for the Beacon forums, and look forward to contributing.

Best wishes for a great outcome. There's lots of reason for hope!
