24 hour urine test while menstruating

Hi, I began a 24 hour urine collection and my menstrual period showed up at the same time. Do I need to stop and begin again a different day?
I do not want to delay since I want the results before my doctors consultation, and won't be able to do the collection again for a few days. But obviously, if I must then I must......

Continue collecting until you can get an answer from a doctor. It would be best if you wore a tampon. Either way, wipe well just before urinating.
(PS. Extra unfair that anyone should get Myeloma while young enough to still have periods!)
