2013 ASH Meeting - Multiple Myeloma Abstracts

by Beacon Staff on Tue Nov 12, 2013 1:16 pm

The abstracts for the 2013 American Society of Hematology meeting were made public last week. The myeloma-related abstracts from the meeting -- of which there are more than 500 -- are now available right here at the Myeloma Beacon.

You can view the abstracts by following this link:

https://myelomabeacon.org/resources/mtgs/ash2013/abs/

The Beacon will publish a news article shortly with useful tips on how to find abstracts that may be of interest to you.

Comments can be left directly on each abstract, and Beacon readers are encouraged to do so.

However, we also thought it might be a good idea to have a central clearing house of abstract-related postings. So we have created this thread for that purpose.

If there are abstracts that you feel are particularly important, or which you otherwise want to let people know about, feel free to post a link to the abstract here, along with its title and your thoughts about it.

Please, however, do not just post a link with no other information. Such postings are not particularly helpful, and they generally will be deleted.

Thanks ... and happy reading (and discussing)!

A year ago, in preparation for the 2012 ASH meeting, The Beacon published this "cheat sheet," explaining what to look for in myeloma-related research.

Many of you may find it useful as things ramp up for this year's meeting.

It is good idea to prevent pneumonia if you have serous chronic disease. Vaccination look like good idea.
In follow abstract Australian researches claim that Prevnar ( pneumonia vaccine ) have potential anti myeloma activity. It works only if you on Revlimide.
