Hi Gary,
I look forward to reading your posts and it would be great if sometime in the future you could do a column. You would be a natural and your journey is compelling and hopeful. Your experience, perseverance, and courage can really help us all. Your story, however difficult, is very inspiring, and it gives me hope that I will see my two boys graduate from high school and, most importantly, just be a good husband and father. I now take nothing for granted and just enjoy the simple pleasures in life.
Thanks. Terry from New Jersey

Re: Diagnosed with multiple myeloma 15 years ago
Hi Gary,
My husband also got treated at that hospital in Vancouver. About 2 1/2 years ago he had his stem cell transplant after his original diagnosis about 8 years previously. I really have nothing but great things to say about the doctors and staff there. Luckily he has needed no other treatment since then.

Sorry I haven't replied earlier, but I've been away and before that I just didn't feel well. Such is the nature of side effects! It seems that there are days (weeks?) that I can go with not feeling so very well, with fatigue and/or just feeling generally spaced out. Drugs, gotta love 'em.
Hey Marett, I believe your husband and I have had the same team of doctors.
I've spent a bit of time reading the various articles on this site. Wow! You guys do a great job! A lot to process. So, now I guess I'll start responding to various threads. TTYL, Gary
