IMF San Francisco Patient & Family Seminar – On April 17 and 18 the International Myeloma Foundation (IMF) will be hosting an informational seminar at the Hotel Nikko in San Francisco. The seminar will run from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on April 17 and 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on April 18. Topics discussed include managing side effects, an overview of myeloma, and current therapies, among others. Registration for the seminar is required and the cost per person ranges from $30 to $60. 100th Annual Meeting Of The American Association For Cancer Research – The American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) will be holding its 100th Annual Meeting April 18-22 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver. Desert International Triathlon – The 10th Annual Toyota Desert International Triathlon will be held on April 19 at Lake Cahuilla in La Quinta, CA. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) will benefit from funds raised by the hotel accommodations, tickets for the pasta and victory party, and race entry fees.
