Seventeenth Annual Diamond Ball — On February 28, the Western New York & Finger Lakes Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) will sponsor its premier black tie gala, the Diamond Ball, at Samuel’s Grande Manor in Williamsville, NY. The event’s name stems from the tradition that each guest at the event receives a pouch containing a genuine gemstone, with one guest receiving a one-carat diamond. Race To Any Place — Trib Total Media and GNC will sponsor a stationary bike race on February 28 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Pittsburgh.
