Current Trends In Leukemia, Lymphoma, And Myeloma – On February 28, 2009, Physicians’ Education Resources will be holding an educational program titled Current Trends in Leukemia, Lymphoma, and Myeloma at the Caribe Hilton in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The focus of the program is to provide cancer care professionals with information on advances originally presented at hematology conferences in 2008. A major goal is to increase patient enrollment in clinical trials by raising awareness of new treatments under development. Black Tie & Black Jack Casino Night – The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) young professionals volunteer group Society Ties is hosting The Black Tie & Black Jack Casino Night to raise funds for the LLS. The event will be held at the Capitale in New York, NY on February 28, 2009, from 8:00 p.m. midnight. Uncorking a Cure: Wine Dinner & Auction - This event will be held at the Norwood Hills Country Club in St. Louis, MO, on February 28, 2009. Chef Bernard Pilan, the Executive Chef of Norwood Hills, will be serving a five-course dinner as well an assortment of wines. A silent and live auction of wines and wine-related items will benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).
