AT&T Austin Marathon And Half Marathon The two marathon races, sponsored by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), will be held on February 15 in Austin, TX. Since 1992, the event has grown to be the sixteenth largest marathon in the United States, with over 10,000 participants each year. For further information, visit the LLS Web site.

Los Angeles Marathon The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) will sponsor the race on February 16. The Los Angeles marathon offers more on-course live performances than any other marathon in the world, ranging from Japanese Taiko drummers at the start line to singer Randy Newman on Vermont Avenue. Update On Stem Cell Transplant For Blood Cancer Patients ― Medical Director of the Center for Hematologic Malignancies at Oregon Health & Science University Dr. Richard Maziarz will speak at the Oncology Nursing Society professional meeting on February 17 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event will be held in Oregon (exact location to be determined).
