Kaiser Permanente San Francisco Half Marathon ― The race will begin at 8 a.m. on February 1, on John F. Kennedy Drive in San Francisco. Australian Country Stars Walk For Blood Cancer Research ― On January 26, musicians Gina Jeffreys, Kasey Chambers, and Troy Cassar-Daley, along with over 200 people, walked down the main street of Tamworth, Australia, in support of the Australian Leukaemia Foundation. Three years ago, Gina Jeffreys organized the first walk after receiving a letter from a six-year-old leukemia patient.
