Molecular Genetics in Myeloma from Diagnosis to Treatment - Rafael Fonseca, M.D., Professor of Medicine and Deputy Director of Mayo Clinic Cancer Center will give a talk on the role of molecular genetics in multiple myeloma. This event will happen on Thursday, December 18, at 9 a.m. at the Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University in New York City.  For more information, please see the Myeloma Center [1].

Lunch and Learn Cancer Workshop - Dr. Hendrik van Deventer, University of North Carolina cancer specialist, will lead a free cancer workshop on Friday, December 19 at noon near Outerbanks Hospital in Nags Head, NC. The focus of the workshop will be lymphoma, leukemia, and myeloma, and a complimentary light lunch will be provided. For registration details, please see WNCT Community News [2].
