Holiday Party In Las Vegas To Benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino will be hosting their first annual "Poker Jingle at the Hard Rock Poker Lounge" in Las Vegas, Nevada on December 12. The funds raised will benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) Southern Nevada chapter.

The holiday party is being held in memory of Mindy Trinidad, a member of the poker community who recently passed away from Acute Leukemia. Many professional poker players and celebrities will be participating, including Phil Hellmuth, Jamie Gold, Erick Lindgren, Beth Shak, Tiffany Michelle, Jennifer Harman, Todd Brunson, Brad Booth, Andy Bloch, Barry Greenstein, JJ Liu, Antonio Esfandiari, Layne Flack, Brandon Cantu, Jeff Madsen, Lee Watkinson, Roy Winston, Lee Markholt, James Van Alstyne, Marco Traniello, Maria Ho, Chad Brown, and Mark Newhouse. Many local businesses are also sponsoring and supporting the event.

The activities will include hor d'oeuvres and cocktails from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., a silent auction, and a tribute to Mindy. The celebrity poker tournament, hosted by Tom McEvoy, will start at 3 p.m. Tournament seats ($230 each) are limited and pre-registration is available at the LLS Southern Nevada chapter website. Registration is also available on the day of the event at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Poker Lounge.
