Nausea and diarrhea from prednisone

I have switched from dexamethasone to prednisone in recent months. I take 25 mg every second day.

I'm taking this with Kyprolis (carfilzomib) and find major diarrhea and nausea. Was initially blaming it on the Kyprolis, but even when I take up to a 2 week break from Kyprolis. the nausea and diarrhea continues constantly. So thinking prednisone is the problem. Prednisone can cause flora in intestines to decrease and can lead to C. diff.

Has anyone had a similar experience with prednisone?

For me, steroids help with nausea. At a lower dose than I had for my treatment, though, they do give me acid reflux.
