Hi,
After the second round of my mother's treatment with low-dose Velcade (bortezomib), she started to get hearing problems at the right ear (ringing or buzzing in the ear). Female voices sound too crisp and create a kind of echo; male voices feel better.
Could it be a side effect of the treatment? Has anyone experienced similar?
Note: She was recently in a minor car accident – went off the road due to snow. No physical damage, but possible stressful situation.

Re: Hearing problems due to Velcade?
Hi Lacerta,
You may want to read this thread:

Also note that the Advanced Search function in this forum (in the upper right corner of this forum) is your buddy. You can simply go to it and type in "hearing Velcade", select to look in "Post subjects and message text" and get links like the one above.
