Is anyone participating, or knows someone who may have participated, in the Kyprolis (carfilzomib)-Pomalyst (pomalidomide, Imnovid)-dex clinical trial for relapsed/refractory patients offered at a few locations, including Columbia University in NYC under Dr Lentzsch?
Considering participating after 2 cycles of RVD and one of VD.
Any information would be extremely useful.

This is a terrific regimen, and I would be highly supportive of participation. It is highly effective with a reasonable side effect profile. We have used it in a lot of our patients with relapsed/refractory disease, often with good results. A couple of questions, though:
1) Are you responding to your current therapy? If so, you may not be eligible to participate since the current strategy is working.
2) Why was the Revlimid stopped? Or did you get VD first and then RVD?
With answers to these questions, I will let you know if the study makes sense or if another strategy is warranted.

Thank you for your reply. I was initially on 25 mg of Revlimid but it gave me neutropenia after the week off (0.3 absolute neutrophils), then the Revlimid was reduced to 15 mg, again neutropenia (0.6 AN), then one cycle of VD.
The treatment stopped working. One recommendation was to switch to CyborD. I am trying to decide between CyborD and the Car/ Pom/Dex trial.
