Been having a little fun with some MMer's on this subject. Feb 14-20th is Random Act of Kindness Week (didn't know we had that) and so some of us were swapping stories on how we do this. Some are quite specific and others truly random.
Do you practice this from time to time, anything special that you enjoy doing?

Re: Random Acts of Kindness
Didn't know there was a Foundation either until I went to the site - thanks Lori!! In January at one of Rex's appointments we took something for each staff member (or at least about 15 of them) at Rex's cancer treatment center and for his oncologist. Did it after Christmas so they didn't think it was a Christmas present as much as a token of our appreciation for all they do. I consider everyone who posts on the Beacon as "contributing to random acts of kindness" for not only sharing their experiences but expertise!! Kay

I didn't know either! I was happy because I remember those wonderful bumper stickers about 20 years ago and loved the idea, but it seemed short-lived. So its cool that it is alive and well and I will do my part to promote it! I love that you did that for your cancer center and your final words were, well, PERFECT! You are so right.
So is here is my latest little plan. Its my daughter, but I don't generally do stuff like this and I know she will not be expecting it at all... she and her wonderful boyfriend broke up in January. They have been dating for 4 years through college. They are on good terms and still talking, but you know... So Valentines is coming up and we have this cool chocolate covered strawberry company near here, but you can order online from anywhere (berries.com - they are really beautiful). I ordered her a dozen for Valentine's Day to be delivered at her Sorority. I said in the card, "I know its Valentine's Day, but this is 'just because'. We love you, Mom & Dad" Anyway, with 47 girls in the house a dozen won't go around, but a few of her close sisters and her can enjoy some beautiful chocolate covered strawberries!
