Hi all,
I am deeply concerned. My Mom is 73 - a newly diagnosed multiple myeloma patient (spine) and was given Velcade by needle (not drip) with dex. Her numbers went down but she is so weak and had pneumonia - now she is still bedridden in hospital but thee weeks plus and still has her blood pressure going down upon them trying to sit her up.
The doctors are saying that since she is not on the Velcade and that is not why her BP goes down but I am reading on here that that happens sometimes for a while after the treatment.
