Hi!
My dad was diagnosed in Feb and he hasn't been responding his Velcade/Dex regiment. When he went in for his appointment today, they checked him into the hospital.
I'm out of state. My mom called me and said they are going to put him on something that she heard as "VDF pace." She knows nothing about it except it's from U of Arkansas and requires my dad to spend 5 days in the hospital. She also mentioned something about 3 rounds and that it's a high dose.
Is there anyone who has heard of this? I can't find anything online so there's a good chance she heard the doctor wrong and it's actually something else...
She's hesitant to whether or not to do this and ANY info I can get to her is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
