Neupogen B2 microglobulin & Lactic Dehydrogenase levels

by suzierose on Fri May 18, 2012 12:06 am

Just wondering...

Did anyone else have the experience of their B2 and/or LDH levels increasing post Neupogen injections for SC mobilization?

Suzierose

My LDH shot up from 148 before SCC to 244 after SCC (above the upper normal limit), after a month back to normal limits. Not much change in B2M (1.5-2.1), except influenza/bronchitis/pneumonia a month later got my B2M to reach 3.9 ! Labs since then 1.9 and 2.1.

Smah,

Thanks!

I think that Neupogen forces out so many wbc's at one time that it causes the elevation in B2 and LDH. My LDH shot into 400's!! My B2M had same increase yours had...I found that disturbing since >2 is cut off for multiple myeloma diagnosis.
