Reducing risk from Rev maintenace

by stann on Sun May 13, 2012 2:49 pm

I just finished the nice synopsis from Beacon Staff on Rev maintenance and risk of secondary cancers.
What role does lifestyle play in increasing/decreasing our risks of getting these secondary cancers, assuming Revlimid maintenance therapy is in our future.
As someone who already eats fruits and vegetables daily and exercise, I wonder if I should be avoiding the sun more than I currently do. Should being out in the sun be viewed as a dangerous activity? (above and beyond the risks that non multiple myeloma patients incur when they are out in the sun)?
I'm sure what I'm asking is more detailed than what the researchers were looking for, but just wondering if anybody had thoughts on this.
Thanks, Stan
