Daratumumab
I came across this webpage today. It mentions a new myeloma drug I hadn't heard about yet, called "daratumumab". Supposedly, it's being tested in a clinical trial as a potential multiple myeloma treatment. Does anyone have any information about the trial? Are they still recruiting patients? Where is the trial being done?

Re: Daratumumab
Hi Russ35. There is a trial being done to test daratumumab in multiple myeloma. It is not easy to find out about the trial however because the trial information at clinicaltrials.gov still uses the old name for the drug HuMax-CD38. Here is a link to the information about the drug trial:
http://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT00574288
In the future you can use this link,
http://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/results?term=humax-cd38+OR+daratumumab
to get a complete list of the trials for the drug.
The current trial involves research centers in Denmark Netherlands and Sweden. The principal is Dr. Richardson at Dana-Farber. He may know whether any research centers in the USA will become involved in the trial.

Re: Daratumumab
I am saving this information. I may need it in a few weeks, if I have to go back to the drawing board.
