Hello, I have been on Revlimid 15mg for about a year and a half, and so far no secondary cancers. I just had my two year ASCT evaluation and i am doing great!

I also take 15 mg of Revlimid and have done so since March 2011. I have no issues with secondary cancers at this time. Make sure you have a recent colonoscopy and mammogram. Go to your local library and read the New England Journal of Medicine articles regarding the clinical study results (published in May 2012, I think it's #19). I had a SCT, but my myeloma cells were resistant to the chemotherapy. I still have 15 percent of the cells in my bone marrow, so I am happy to take the Revlimid. I had low amounts of the M-spike in my blood work at first, but I have been in remission since November 2011. :)

I had a stem cell transplant in May 2011, I was on Revlimid up to Feb 2012. I had the doctors stop it do to the rash that kept coming back. I went down to 5 mg still rash came back. I was worried of secondary cancer and stephen johnson syndrome.

I am to date still in remission. I am not on any meds.

I am headed back for my check up with CTCA this month. If all goes well I will stay off the meds.

Now I take natural stuff

Turmeric/Curcumin
Wobenzym N
Lots of Antioxidents
Vit b17
Vit d
Vit b3 complex

Good luck
Greg

Based on the medical literature. SPM associated with llenalidimide shows up 24 months after maitnance use. The incidence of SPM was seen mostly in those who had alkylator chemotherapy & not so much in patients without alkylator therapy.
