Revlimid for Bence Jones Myeloma

by Monika Macdonald on Wed Apr 04, 2012 10:23 am

I was first diagnosed with Bence Jones Myeloma in 2005. My first STC put me into complete remission which lasted for five years. I was on Velcade for over a year, which was absolutely horrible, and had a second STC in December 2011. My bone marrow biopsy still shows 60% myeloma involvement.

I imagine I will go on to Revlimid next. Does anyone have any information about what sort of response I could hope to achieve in this situation? I’m based in Brighton in the UK and Revlimid is available from the NHS.
