Hello, Rain,

VDT PACE is most commonly the regimen given before and after the stem cell transplants in the "Total Therapy 3" approach to treating multiple myeloma. You can read more about VDT-PACE and Total Therapy 3 in this Beacon article. The Total Therapy 3 approach is also discussed and compared to other stem-cell transplant approaches to treating myeloma in this recent Beacon article.

All the best,

Boris.

Hello, Rain:

I was treated at UAMS / MIRT in Little Rock, AR diagnosed with IgG kappa myeloma. My protocol was Total Therapy 4, which included VDT PACE. I am currently in complete remission/response.

I highly recommend the informative articles that Mr. Simkovich mentioned.

If you'd like, you can see my treatment schedule at UAMS at my blog:

All my best,
