Leading myeloma experts will discuss the latest advances in frontline therapy, stem cell transplant, relapsed/refractory disease, supportive care, and clinical trials. There will also be a question and answer session. Registration begins at 9 a.m., and the workshop will go from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

September 8 (Anywhere) Teleconference On The Importance Of Clinical Trial Participation

The International Myeloma Foundation will sponsor this teleconference about participating in clinical trials. Dr. Brian Durie, a myeloma specialist at Cedars-Sinai Cancer Center, will discuss the Phase 3 clinical trial comparing carfilzomib-Revlimid-dexamethasone and Revlimid-dexamethasone alone. The call will be held from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. PT.

August 26-27 (Philadelphia, PA) - Philadelphia Patient & Family Seminar

The two day seminar will feature a panel of leading multiple myeloma physicians and researchers. They will speak about topics important to patients and their families, and the physicians will be available to answer questions. Register by July 25 for discounted fees.
